My name is Rebecca Harvey and i am looking to work as a student groom. I am planning to start college, and study the national diploma in horse management next september so i would be an ideal replacement for someone on maternity leave of just a short term groom. I have 10 GCSE'S ( 4 A's, 4 B's and 2 C's) and am a qualified first aider. I have ridden horses from an early age and currently have a 16.1 tb gelding. I am used to dealing with very green, nervous, spooky and badly behaved horses and i am a competent rider. I can jump, but my forte is dressage. My horse is trained upto medium/advanced level and although i dont compete with him at this level, i school him at a high level. I have experience working with the public, i have good communication skills and am obviously capable of any yard duties. I could live in/ out and with/without my horse, i am looking to work around 5days a week. I can school/ lunge/ bandage/groom / excercise/ hack horses and ponies and am willing to do any yard duties like mucking out/ feeding/ turning in-out/ rugging up/ etc. I hope i can be of use to you, Thanks.
